Breckenridge |
Thanksgiving break this year I headed out to Colorado to get
some early season turns in. Tyler picked me up at a nice 4:15am to make my 6am
flight.

70 Traffic!! |
The drive was nice until he had to stop due to his bowel movements; we
were about 10 minutes from the airport. The Wednesday before thanksgiving is
the busiest flying day of the year, but with such an early flight I was able to
miss all of the traffic until I was out in Colorado. Due to the 12 inches of
snow Colorado got overnight, the 70 tunnel was a traffic jam.

Luckily I was still
able to be at Breckenridge skiing by 11am, not bad since earlier that morning I
was in St.Louis. From Breck, I drove north to Winter Park, where I stayed the
following nights at Pam’s house. The next two days I skied Winter Park, and on Friday
the Marry Jane side of Winter Park opened.

The view from Pam's drive way |
On Saturday I headed over to Copper
and finished the trip Sunday back at Winter Park. It was a great trip, and was
wonderful catching up with Pam. Enjoy the pictures, but they really do not do
justice to seeing the views in real life. Until the next adventure.
